Medical Professionals Work Hard; Play Harder With Two Awesome Boxers!
With August being National Pet Wellness Month, it only makes sense to highlight two medical professional clients of ours, Thomas and Heather Brown and their beautiful Boxers, Millie and Avery!
Residents of Roswell for 10 years, Thomas and Heather love their town! “We live near Canton Street, so we’re spoiled by all the pet-friendly restaurants and shops in the downtown area.
Thomas is a Nurse Navigator for Emory Healthcare and Heather a Physician Assistant for Northside Hospital. She is also a Professor at Brenau University. With all that going on, what do they do to wind down? “We love to travel, hike and re-connect with nature any chance we get,” Heather says, “and we are kind of foodies always seeking some fabulous places to go and new things to try. Our dogs are our best travel companions! We enjoy finding dog-friendly locations to visit and activities to do, especially if they involve the outdoors and food!”
Tell us more about your dogs. “Our boxers love the beach and are great hikers, and they both do spectacular “zoomies” when they are in the mood. We’re quite proud of them being featured as “Ms. March” in the Dogs of Roswell Calendar in 2018. When they’re not modeling,” Heather chuckles, “they’ve traveled with us to 22 different states.”
How has Furs Responders entered your lives? “Furs Responders has allowed us to go to work, even during the pandemic, with the comfort of knowing someone who truly cares for our fur-kids is coming to visit them and help them have a great day while we are away. We’re very serious about who watches our dogs and although Scott “The DogFather” sends us humorous updates and photos during the visit, we feel confident that they are in good hands! Thanks a million!”
